Project: Proposed Redesign of Isle of Man Currency

The Isle of Man is a crown dependency and as such uses the British pound sterling as well as their own currency. They are one of the seven Celtic nations with a rich Celtic and Norse heritage which was what I wanted to reflect in their currency. Each of the illustrations has meaning for the Manx notes as well as the colors which are pulled from colors of several official Manx tartans. The currency hasn’t had a redesign since 1958. The project was created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
